Search dog teams are also involved in the rescue operations following the earthquake in Japan. They included 5 dogs and 9 volunteers from DRDN, a partner organisation of REDOG. The DRDN teams were deployed in the Suzu region. REDOG has been supporting the Disaster Rescue Dog Network with training for several years. Joint training courses are held in Japan and Switzerland.
