REDOG and the JTI Foundation formalize Partnership

REDOG and the JTI Foundation, based in Dagmersellen LU, signed up to a comprehensive partnership at the beginning of March. The foundation, active world-wide in the realm of catastrophe prevention and aid, will support REDOG in the year ahead by supplying personal equipment for technical search and localization specialists and dog teams, as well as in organizing the international training week, and with the expansion of the agency. The JTI Foundation supports several aid organizations and specialists active in catastrophe prevention and aid. The partnership is initially for a year, but a long-term cooperation is intended.

Romaine Kuonen, REDOG Chief-President, expresses her joy about the partnership. "The financial support and the know-how the JTI Foundation bring in dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters, allow us to take a major step forward on our path to further professionalization of our volunteer organization. In addition, the Foundation's international network opens up new possibilities to exchange experiences with other parties."

Stefan Rissi, Director of the JTI Foundation, confirms: "In partnering up with REDOG, we will be able to meet our Foundation's mission –the alleviation of risks and the aftermath of catastrophes for those afflicted-- in a new way. That's why we are proud of this partnership."
